Additional Postage

Hi there,

Im really new to Zen Cart but have a shop up and running, however I am struggling with the postage. I have set it up so that every item has its own postage costs so Product A's postage is 3.30 for example and Product B's is 2.20, but if someone buys product A and product B together i dont want it to charge them 5.50, only an additional 1.00 on top of the cost of the highest postage item...Is this at all possible

You would need to customize a shipping module for this ...

If you were to use the Per Unit perweightunit for when there is only 1 Product in the cart then it could be based on the Product Weight ...

If you were to use the Item Rate, you could get the highest weight value to use as the starting weight then add the additional charge per item ...

All of this would need to be customized, but it can be done ... :smile:
