Hotmail rejected the email.

Today all my clients from Hotmail are don't receive email. I contact my hosting, and they tell me that is a Hotmail issue.

I get this email:

Connected to 65.55.92.152 but sender was rejected.
Remote host said: 550 SC-004 Mail rejected by Windows Live Hotmail for policy reasons. A block has been placed against your IP address because we have received complaints concerning mail coming from that IP address. If you are not an email/network admin please contact your E-mail/Internet Service Provider for help. Email/network admins, we recommend enrolling in our Junk E-Mail Reporting Program (JMRP), a free program intended to help senders remove unwanted recipients from their e-mail list: http://postmaster.live.com

You'll have to work with your hosting company to remove the blacklisting.

The hosting, says that is a hotmail problem, i use a form in the msn.com website for this kind of problem.

Do u think will work?

Well, hotmail is telling you that they've received complaints about emails coming from the IP address of your server.
If *you* didn't send those emails, and you're on a shared-server hosting account, then *you* probably will have no voice when talking to hotmail.
If it's a shared server, then your hosting company will have to negotiate with hotmail.
Sounds like your host is lazy and doesn't care.

Whatever the case, this really has nothing to do with Zen Cart ...

I write an email to the hosting now, saying if they doen´t resolve it asap, i am going to change all my websites, domains and emails.

I am getting the exact same problem. Let me add just this, when I send emails to hotmail from my web email service, using the same address I have configured as my "from" in the admin, messages go through with out any bouncing back, but when I send them throught the admin, emails are bounced back.

If you ever get a solution please let me know. I will try mine.

I put an yahoo email in the FROM in the ADMIN but i get another error.

Can you help me using another smtp?

Today, Hotmail resolve the problem, i can send emails to Hotmail clients. Hope ZCricardo resolved it too.

But i am tired of godaddy, they can resolve nothing. They are Top 5 of worst host: http://www.nouptime.com/top-10-worst-hosts
