I've got this on the top of my site any reason for it and how do I get rid of it


Error: Catalog images directory is not writeable: /home/ysmcouk/public_html/shop/images/

I'd guess you'd need to FTP to that directory and set its permissions to 777.

use www.net2ftp.com should be simple

You're going to need to learn to use FTP in order to modify your store, so it might be a good idea to start now.

Download and install Filezilla on your local computer to get started.
