Today I received my first order in awhile, but I was not notified through zencart. In the past I have always received a zencart email telling me about an order, but nope. The only way I knew I had an order was from Paypal telling me the order had been received.
The order did not receive an order number and there is no record in my Admin of this order having ever taken place. This is an old customer, and her customer profile in admin shows that she logged in today, but has no record of an order.
I thought it may have been because she did not click "return to merchant" in paypal, so I created a test item at $.01 and went through myself. Went through paypal, returned to my checkout_success page and everything... still no tracking of the order in admin, although Paypal sent me an email telling me I had received payment. (except not really, because they kept my cent.)
This is altogether very odd and I'm worried it's going to involve some really ugly stuff... thanks in advance to anyone who has any suggestions!
