Products with Attributes - Instant Add to Cart with PopUp?

Has anyone seen a way to instantly add items to cart without having to view the product information page? We would like a "Buy Now" on our downloadables that allow customers to instantly purchase without all the secondary clicking... maybe with a popup giving them the attribute choices?

It is possible to configure the cart so the buy now buttons appear on the product_listing page. This is the page with the list of products in a particular category.

You need to have a look at the options in the admin section:

admin - configure - product listing

Display Product Add to Cart Button (0=off; 1=on; 2=on with Qty Box per Product)

Display Multiple Products Qty Box Status and Set Button Location

If you want more flexibility of how the products are shown on this page then search the forum for flexible product listing.

Attributes can be provided on this page by a mod called 'Options on product listing'. This doesn't work out of the box with flexible product listing but I managed to hack the two together so that I had flexible product listing and the drop down attribute menus.
