    Default configuration files problem

i got this error, and can not fix it, please help!!!

    ---------------------------------

    please fix your configuration files

Your configure.php files cannot be validated. This means that they most likely do not contain valid information.
There may be a problem with your configuration files.

After collecting information from you, we tried to write the collected information to the configure.php files on your server. You are seeing this screen because that process was unsuccessful. Thus, you will likely have to set their contents manually.

That means the installer attempted to write the configure.php files, but when it read them back in for verification, they contained different content than what was written.
    Common causes:
    - insufficient permissions to write to the files, or preventing reading the files after they've been written
    - insufficient disk space to allow storing content into the files
    - something on the server intercepting the writing of file content

thank you very much, i had to start all over again, and i did finish the install, but then, i was locked out of the admin control panel.... i tried some one hour everything possible i was unable to enter the admin control panel, i was constantly asked that i didn't have either correct user name or password, it was a nightmare.

i will reinstall it tonight.... so far i just want to say zen cart really needs to improve its installation!!!

LOL ... how? you mean to automatically figure out why your server has a problem writing to files and reading them back again?

If you can't login to the admin section, you probably have a sessions problem.

Thousands of successful installs and by some that are admitted neophytes....
Did you remember your user and pass???

    You never stated the basics
    What version of ZenCart?
What server type? 'nix or win?
    What apache version?
    What php version?
    What mysql version?

yes, i set the user name and pass as "admin" and "1234".
i installed Opera browser and it works.
But it doesn't work with firefox.
i am studying the sessions problem, don't know if i can understand it because i am not a tech person at all....

sorry today i spent some 7 hours with install, it drives mee nuts, and in this anger i forgot to say i am installing zen cart 1.38a and linux server. sorry i don't know "apache version" nor "php version" nor "mysql version" they are just too technical, and i think majority people are not tech type.
