Default multiple items postage help please?

i have looked but have not found anything to completely answer my needs, i am trying to set up shipping and i need to do it for multiples of items like so....
    1-3 Cd's will cost £2.99
    4-5 CD's £3.49
    6-7 Cd's £4.99
anything will have a flat postage fee of £6.99

i only have cds or mp3s at the moment so the postage shouldnt change from this unless royal mail updates its prices.

can someone please point me in the right direction for tutorials or give me some advice of where to start thankyou

You would use the Table Rate for that. Install it in Admin - Modules- Shipping, and there are some basic instructions in the configuration.
