Can't log into my Admin or get on site: Warning: Unexpected character in input: '''

Hi,

I recently upgraded to 1.3.8 and added the Rewards points mod and have been running into some problems since then. I am getting the following warning messages for my site.

For my Admin:

Warning: Unexpected character in input: ''' (ASCII=39) state=1 in /home/thrift4/public_html/admin/includes/languages/english/index.php on line 70

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/thrift4/public_html/admin/includes/languages/english/index.php on line 70

and for my website:

Warning: Unterminated comment starting line 101 in /home/thrift4/public_html/index.php on line 101

I did not edit these files so I don't know why I might be getting these messages. The only edit I did was this morning to my css file, however my site was still function afterwards.

This is the second time this happened this week. I was able to fix it before because it was an error with a custom file so I just deleted it, but this is not a custom file. Any idea what may be going on or how I can fix this?

I just tried to ftp these two files to my pc so I can look at them at my antivirus just popped up telling me they are both infected.

what should i do?

I just tried to ftp a different file and it didn't show any virus warnings, so it looks like it's just those two files.

I don't want to alarm you; perhaps your site has been hacked? You should try checking out this thread for hacked sites and get some help from those guys. http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=134
