I can't figure out how to remove the bottom banner. I have no problem removing any of the other banners, but I can't seem to figure out where the control for the bottom one is. Can anyone help?

You can also look in the Configuration ... Layout Settings ... and see what Banner Groups you have defined for each of the 9 banner positions ...
