Adsmartmenus mod and zen lightbox mod compatibility issue

I have added the lightbox mod and the adsmartmenus mod. Both of which use javascript...with which I'm very unfamiliar. When adding the lightbox mod, it made the adsmartmenus mod stop functioning properly.

The adsmartmenus mod is a dropdown menu replacement for the categories sidebox. Basically, rather than clicking on a category and the sub-categories being revealed, it was a pop-up menu...like the kind you make in Fireworks. After adding the zen lightbox (I love that mod by the way, it rocks) the sidebox that originally held the nice categories pop-up menu now has ALL the categories and sub-categories listed. Not to mention, now it's wider than I've allotted and covering up part of the main_page. Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this? It's driving me nuts.

Look at both mods to determine if there are any like files that they alter
Assuming yes - - make certian that you combine/merge their changes into one combined file

I haven't found any common files between the two of the mods. I have looked through them twice, though I intend upon looking through them both again. Assuming that I haven't missed anything...is there a possibility that the actions that the javascript from both mods is trying to execute is conflicting and making the menu not function properly? That is my suspicion. Currently, I am using a drop-down menu mod for the categories which, I can certainly live with if that is the best solution.

Try replacing the zen lightbox with the jquery lightbox that is floating around here somewhere
Uses javascript but may be more or less compatible???

Just tried your suggestion. It had no effect. It's not a big deal. I'll just live with the drop-down menu for the categories. Thank you so much for helping though. It means a lot. I really appreciate it.

I was surfing around, checking out some of my posts and I thought I should mention that I did finally resolve this issue...kind of. Instead of using the adsmartmenus, which works very well in Firefox but fails abysmally in IE (I hate IE), I decided to go with the CSS flyout menu mod.
