    Default Testing Authorize.Net

    Hi!

    I've already followed the instructions here:

    I got stuck in this step:
    1. Incorporated with each successful order is a listing of:
    *Authorize.net generated Order ID
    *Approval Code
    *Reference Number
    *AVS Response
    *Fraud Score
    *Response Message

    The first 3 values should help you cross reference your orders to the Authorize.net system.
    The 4th value AVS (Address Verification System) should help you determine fraud or not.
    Also all orders I tested have this status "Pending" or "Processing". Is this normal since products I have are virtual downloads?

    What do you mean "got stuck"?
    You're going to need to provide a *lot* more information about what's happening, what you think is wrong, and what you were expecting vs what's actually happening, and so on.

    Well, I'm not quite sure where to find this "Transaction Data" that was mentioned in the guide. I believe this is for testing purposes.

    And so I tested buying a product while AuthorizeNet is in testing mode. I clicked on the test product I created. All was fine. Emails was sending and the card (Visa: 4007000000027) was used. I was wondering how to make sure that this transaction actually went through? Can I check it in authorize.net? Also since the test product was a virtual product, I can't seem to download. It says:
    NOTE: Downloads are not available until payment has been confirmed
    Is there a way to confirm this manually? Also, will the "pending" status be changed to "delivered" once the buyer downloads the item?

    Actually rather than confirm it manually, I'd like them to be able to download it once they placed an order.

    From the ADMIN, MODULES, PAYMENT MODULES, make sure that your Authorize.net AIM module (if that is the module you are using) setting : Set Completed Order Status is set to Processing. If you have this set to something else the customer will not be able to automatically download the file.

    Authorization Type: Authorize+Capture
    If you want the money deposited into your account automatically.

    Also, in ADMIN >CONFIGURATION >Attribute Settings >Enable Downloads is set to TRUE.

    You will be able to see the transaction by logging into Authorize.net . Since transactions are batched at a certain time each day, you'll need to look in the SEARCH > Unsettled Transactions report to see it if the transaction was done recently.
