    Default Zen Cart for Trading...

    Hey all,

I wanted to bounce an idea off you guys and find out if this would be possible...

I currently sell items on my Zen Cart site, but to get some added traffic and exposure I'd like to build in a trading area on my site.

For example: John wants to trade Product A for Rogers Product B. Maybe Rogers product is worth $50 and Johns is only $25. If there were any money exchanges it would be between the 2 parties and PayPal.

Since I'm already running Zen Cart on my site, is there any way it could be tailored to include items added by customers (traders) in a separate category layout?

I think this will require more programming than I care to tackle.
LOL Ideas and thoughts are appreciated.

    Thanks!

Probably is possible, but it won't be coded on a Sunday after lunch, for a couple of hours!

Perhaps Admin Profiles might be massaged to work with the auction product type.

We have a project based on zencart which allows "partners" to post products directly on our site, and monitor the sales. It also has feedback and PM system which allows communication between sellers and buyers. (like ebay)

The project is currently at 90% done, we dont have any plan to publish this though. But if you are interested you can contact me.
I no longer provide installation support on forum for all my modules. However, if there are real bugs with the modules please feel free to contact me
