Banner URL wont redirect

Ive looked at the FAQs page and thru the first few pages of this forum, still dont know what Im doing wrong.

When I click on a banner I am not directed to the page I set it to. Instead I get :
/index.php?main_page=redirect&action=banner&goto=32

Any idea why it might be doing this?

I've tryed everything I can think of and looked thru all the FAQs related to banners, still now go. I even installed a new store and created a duplicate banner that redirected fine. I am very stuck. Please somebody help me.

I see, it's stoped there...maybe has bugs in the code...I suggest you check the codes in

includes/modules/pages/redirect/header_php.php

As near as I can tell that code is fine. Just to be safe I did replace it with the same file from a fresh install. That had no noticed effect. Its been changed back to the original now. Ive checked the url spelling and tryed every possible format. Ive looked at the DB to see if it was copied wrong, but that looked fine too. I dont have any experience with databases so Im guessing when I say the code and the DB look correct.

Is it possible I changed a setting somewhere or that the changed code from another fine is interacting with the banners? Except for some CSS and adding some html code to the copyright text in the footer, I haven't made any changes to the code where I did not follow step by step the FAQs guide.
