download immediately after payment?

since day one we have had our store set up for the customer to submit their order>use paypal to pay then we get notified of payment and release the order.

How does one set it up so that once their payment is recieved at paypal that the order is released right away without us needing to go to admin panel and release it

I think one of my admins tried it---can't remember where she did it and today we had an order that claimed to have expired when it was just placed.

You can set time limits on downloadable products in the admin area. You will need to edit your product and/or the Attribute that you wish to change and give it a value of 1(day)-28(days) for example

yea I know that thanks...i have that set for 7 days with 5 downloads each but

I want to chabge it so that I do not have to go to admin/orders and change their order from processing to delivered.....I want it to be delivered immediately after they pay paypal

like many stores have it set. I have sen some zencart stores with it this way and would like to do the same.

So, set your PayPal payment module to use "Processing" as its OrderStatus setting, just like you have in your other stores.

thank you but this is my only store...the others are some that I have gone to on the web to buy stuff.

Now about that module...I went there and she did set it to delivered

she has "pending" for the orders that are not completed and "delivered" for the ones that are completed and paid for.

so I guess that is set right soooooooo, why did it tell her hat the downloads were expired and I had to in there and click the yellow dot to reactivate them. She bought them then got her reply but the links were no active.

Did we forget to select something else?
