Website changes size when opened

Database Patch Level: 1.3.8
First and fresh install
Added ImageHandler 2 and Quantity Discount within last 2 weeks

Hello again,

First thanks for all the members who have given answers to so many questions - after searching the forum for what seems an eternity LOL I am pretty much ready to put my store online.

My only remaining problem is probably simple but I cannot find the answer anywhere. When my store is opened the screen looks perfectly aligned etc., and it does so for quite a while, but after a little while of moving the screen for some reason I end up with large blank space above my header.

Would anybody know how I can correct this.

I have already altered the width of the mainWrapper in stylesheet.css to 100% but this doesn't seem to have made a difference.

I looked at the suggestion above but my problem was slightly different in as much as it wasn't the background colour showing before my background image - it was my background image which was elongated above the header.

However I have managed to find the answer I was looking for. My problem was due to Image Handler 2, and whilst I installed it and it worked absolutely perfectly, because I hadn't copied the css, jscript and popup_image_additional files/folders to my custom template, this appears to be what caused my page shifting.
