Changing root directory

Hi all, I have been running my shopping site froma blog, this was fine and worked well when I had 40 odd products but over the last year I have grown to over 250 products so have chosen to use Zen cart. First off, WOW, its quite a steep learning curve for me! I am very much a front end designer.

Now I have installed zen cart ina temp dir while I have a play and get the site to a stage when I can launch it to the public, but I suddnelt thought the other day am I going to be able to move it to the root dir easily or is this a complicated procedure if it can be done at all?

sorry found the answers wonce my brain woke up and I used search... how can I delete this thread.. or if a Mod can do that for me would be a ppreciated so I don't look like such a dumbass :)

You don't look like a dumbass. Lots of folks don't bother to look in the Tutorials/FAQ first because they don't realize the info is there or use an odd search term trying to find it. Glad you got the hang of it and found the right info. You're right about the steep learning curve, but you'll reach a point where you'll wonder why you thought it was so difficult.
