Affiliate Program Questions - Again!

Hi All,

I have read through the older posts talking about various Affiliate Programs that integrate with Zen.

It seems the 2 top recommended are Post Affiliate Pro and JROX.

Is this still the case?

I came across Affiliate Pro Script (affiliateproscript.com) that integrate with Zen as well. Anyone familiar with this product?

One nice feature with Affiliate Pro Script is it is NOT encrypted, not sure about PAP?

Any feedback would be helpful as I need to start developing an Affiliate Program ASAP!

Integration of affiliate programs with Zen Cart is usually no more than adding a small amount fo code to the checkout_success page to be able to track which affiliate originated the sale.

So from the Zen Cart there's not a great deal to judge. Just choose the Affiliate Program that you like best.

My preference was JROX and it is a really nice program !

It is quite a detailed process getting it set up (not complicated, just detailed), but it works a treat!

PostAffiliate Pro is also very good I believe, but I have no experience with it.

If you are to make a choice, I would recommend you look no further than these two, as both have good reputations for support, and in their collaboration with zencart.

At first glance, I'm liking PAP. However, I was hoping that someone had some experience with Affiliate Pro Script (affiliateproscript.com).

I like the non-encrypted source code idea.

Just received an email response from the folks over at PAP. Seems that their new version PAP4 is based on their GWTPHP framework and is available as source code.

Demo looks slick, not sure about the desktop type of interface they use with the GWTPHP framework.

For an extra fee, they give you the ability to do Site Replication. The iead is to allow Affiliates to have their own website / page if they don't already have a site...

What is your impression on the Flash Cookie tracking method and importance?

It wasn't clear on the JROX site whether they use that method or just standard cookie tracking.
