Anonymous FTP Controls?

Hi Found this in my control panel fo my site - not sure if this is a concern but I thought that I would send it in. - if it's a concern should it be porsted somewhere?


Anonymous FTP Controls

You can allow users to connect to your anonymous FTP directory without having a password to login.
This may be useful if you have files that you wish to be publicly available for download.

Please note that allowing anonymous users to access any part of your system may be considered a security hole.

I have unchecked it so that it's no longer allowed and never knew it was there until prepping fo rthe upload of my store.

Anonymous FTP is a service that one can use in their hosting account if they need to make certain FTP files available to unregistered customers.
Using it does pose some security risks, so DO NOT USE IT UNLESS YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHY YOU ARE NEEDING IT.
MOST people NEVER need it, and should have it disabled. Period.

It's entirely unrelated to Zen Cart or anything Zen Cart uses/does.
