Side Box Question

Hi everyone,

I have a quick question regarding the Categories side box on my site http://www.outdoorking.com that somebody might be able to help me with.

I am attaching a picture from another site which explains what I am looking for but unable to find in the add onns here. What I want to achieve is similar to the picture attached is that the main categories are listed in the side box without the drop down box and then as the customer scrolls down the list all the sub categories show (similar to windows explorer) and they then click on the area that they are interested in.

If someone can direct me to the correct add on it would be appreciated as I am unable to locate it.

You want some version of a CSS flyout menu. There is at least one in Free Addons.

Thanks for the quick reply regarding the Categories side box but the problem is is shows all Categories including the sub categories. There does not appear to be any information on how to correct this.

I did notice that there was a version for the header which is what I am looking for but to work in the side box not the header.

Do you know how I would convert the header type to the side box?

I haven't used any flyout menus, but from what I have seen they should work as you described, showing only the top cats until you hover on one, then showing subs of that. Could you have had some problem with installation?

I have a Categories drop down box at present do you think I would have to uninstall that in order for it to work.

Your drop down menu applies to the cat-tabs, so might not interfere with the categories sidebox. I would need a complete list of the files in the drop down mod to be sure about it.
