How to add image to home page?

Hi there,

I wish to add an image to my home page.

This would be placed Just under:

Welcome Guest! Would you like to log yourself in?

and above the category links.

I have read that I need to edit: define_main_page.php

/public_html/includes/languages/english/html_includes/my template/define_main_page.php

This is fine.. however, when I view this file I can see the default zen cart writing which is not visible on my website. I assume i have turned this off at some stage?

How do I make this visible on the website?

Simple question but I cannot find an answer to this.

Generally, custom content for the home page is added by editing the DEFINE PAGE for the main page.

ADMIN>>>TOOLS>>>DEFINE PAGES EDITOR>>>select define_main_page.php .

You can either use the HTMNLArea default editor, or toggle to raw html (use the <> toolbar icon) and paste in your html. This html can include img src and a href links.

I can get to that page no problem..

There is some standard zen cart stuff in there already.. the problem is.. how do I see it ? It is not showing in zen cart so I must have turned it off or something when setting up Zen cart for some reason.

Anyone know how to see this live in Zen cart ? Can you turn it on and off ? would would prevent this from being visible?
