How do I use FileZilla?

I do have filezilla client but after dys of hard work I am unable to make it work.
I tried to disconnect all firewalls, routers, anti virus prgrms. etc. nothing helps.
I even carried it to a different location on my laptop still no action.
This thing connects to the server, shows the files uploaded there and when I try to send a file it says: "Critical error" and goes into this loop trying again and again endlessly...

Is there a free program with slightly more brains?

I think the better question would be "What is non-standard about my setup that causes a problem with Filezilla?" Many many thousands of people use it with no problems on all sorts of computers. You can try a different FTP program, but I wouldn't be surprised if it ran into the same issue.

I would also advise asking about the problem on a Filezilla forum, as this forum is not dedicated to troubleshooting that program.
