Format for existing images filename

I am trying to set up my products and can not get my product images to associate with my products. My images are already on my web hosts server in a sub-folder of the root directory called Prodimages. What is the format that I need to use to get ZenCart to link to the images in that folder?

move them to the ZenCart /images folder or use the upload when entering a product
