Default Adding a terms and conditions page

I was needing to add a terms and conditions page as the first step of the checkout process.

My understanding is in order to accomplish this I need to edit \includes\filenames.php by defining FILENAME_CHECKOUT_SHIPPING to my terms and conditions page and then add the definition of FILENAME_CHECKOUT as the checkout_shipping page now. The terms page would then redirect to that page when agreed to.

Currently my terms and conditions page is MYDOMAIN.com/terms.php

How do I define these elements to work?

Use the builtin define_conditions.php and edit from the admin

    Require acceptance
admin > config > regulations > Confirm Terms and Conditions During Checkout Procedure > set to true

    I have set this
admin > config > regulations > Confirm Terms and Conditions During Checkout Procedure > set to true[/quote]

and I have add wording to the
    admin > tools > define pages editor > define_conditions.php

but my page is blank http://www.foxvalleybirkenstock.com/conditions.html

    especially the Debugging Tool.

Also check that the text you added doesn't contain unescaped apostrophes or quotation marks.
