    Default Issue when getting to payment stage

    Hi Guys,

    I am testing this site I have created, but there is one BIG issue. For some reason after I get passed the shipment selection screen (canada post module installed) and it goes to the payment stage I get a blank page.

    This is what it says in the address bar.

    main_page=checkout_payment

    Anyone know what it could be? I have Virtual Merchant payment method installed but I disabled it but it did not help.

    Sounds like you have a missing or corrupt tpl_checkout_payment_default.php file?

    Check in your includes/templates/YOURTEMPLATE/templates folder and make sure you have this file.....

    Try copy a fresh file there from the ZC install folder and see if it helps

    (REMEMBER TO BACK UP EXISTING FILE FIRST IF ITS THERE)

    none of the tpl_checkout files were there so I transferred it all from the template default folder but it still does the same thing...

    any other suggestions?

    Go to the Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ...

    In the bottom input box enter:
    class virtualmerchant

    Select Catalog ... click Search ... what files come up containing that line?

    This could be a copy, backup copy, miscopied etc. file on the server causing this ...

    NOTE: the module directories are auto-loading so it may be loading copies/backups etc. and triggering that error or the language file could accidentally be a copy of the code file ...

    I also get a blank page, however I do not have any "class virtualmerchant".

    Is there anything else that could do this?

    A number of things can cause this ... the most likely being a language file with space(s) or blank line(s) before or after the opening or closing php brackets ...

    Get the Debug Tool from the Free Software Add Ons and see if it will give you the exact error message(s) you are receiving ...
