Captcha Number Subject -- Subject only not working

Installed captcha-number-subject-combo-in-one-1.0 on ZC ver 1.38a.

Finally I got the captcha image to work, but the SUBJECT does get emailed with the Contact Us form.

I receive an email with the user's name, phone number, comments, but the subject from the form is not sent. This may help, if the user keys in the wrong Captcha code, their name, address and comments are preserved while they re-key in the captcha, but the subject field is cleared.

Oops! Should read "the subject does not get mailed..."

Did you ever get this fixed ?

I have exactly the same problem, and cant find the solution at the moment.
