Problem with additional images

Using Zen Cart 1.3.8a
Database Patch Level: 1.3.8
First install
Added ImageHandler 2 and Quantity Discount within last 4 weeks
Domain Name: www.craftystash.com

Hi there, I had already posted this problem in General but think it may have been in the wrong section. (orginal posting http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=131790 )

I am using IH2 to upload my images and additional images for my products, but over the last couple of days whenever I add an additional image, the first will show, but the second doesn't.

On the Image Handler Admin screen it shows:

cs_obd_rainyday_ip_preview (main image)
cs_obd_rainyday_ip_preview_01 (additional)
cs_obd_rainyday_ip_preview_01 (2nd additional image)

Products I previously added this way always showed the second image as **_preview_02.

My site's security certificate has only just been put on correctly by my hosts (Tuesday this week) - could this have anything to do with my problem? and if so, how would I correct it without interfering with with the cert?

I have tried uploading the images via ftp myself after renaming them as follows: rainydaypuddles, raindaypuddles_01 and rainydaypuddles_02, even with this IH is renaming the two additional images _01.

I have uploaded the 2nd image twice so the _02 appears and changed the Configuration - Admin - Number of additional Images Per Row to 4, still the 2nd image won't show.

I have also cleared the image cache and this hasn't helped.

I have totally run out of ideas and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I am still totally stuck on this and would appreciate any help you can give.

could this be a problem in one of the .css or .php files? - please note I am not good with these and stay away from them where-ever possible LOL.

Update on my situation.

I deleted all the image files for this product and started again.

This time I uploaded the rainydaypuddles.png file on the product attributes section into images/pyramage - this show perfectly.

By using my FTP program I uploaded the 2 additional files rainydaypuddles_01 and rainydaypuddles_02 to images/pyramage.

When I now go into IH the two files are shown correctly named as if they should work perfectly, however only one is still showing on the site.

Not sure if that helps in finding a solution - but it can't hurt LOL. Debbie

Your base image is a png as is your first additional image

Your second additional image is a jpg
One can not mix file types as Zen Cart keys of the base image name/type for these

rainydaypuddles.png
rainydaypuddles_01.png
rainydaypuddles_02.jpg

Change/convert the rainydaypuddles_02.jpg to rainydaypuddles_02.png and your issue will vanish
