Strange Validation Errors

Hi,

My site was validationg perfectly up to yesterday, I did not change anything and suddenly today it has stopped validating. It seems the w3c validator cannot autodetect my doctype, charset or namespace anymore, this is so strange!

Would one of the punters please be kind enough to look this up

I have checked this and checked again, I dont think there is anything wrong with the doctype, namespace, charset combination can some one please let me know if I am missing something...

Thanks Kim I will do that, was just hoping that someone here will be able to spot something that I am obviously blind to.

I will check back in a few hrs..and yes post a question to the validator folks too.

The only things I see is a little overuse of " />" versus "/> and, when using HTML Tidy cleanup, there are some definite changes around the search form and div id searchContent.

Thanks again dbltoe would you please be kind enough to post a link to where I can use HTML directly off the web I found the source forge site but that is a exe (I don't have permissions to install on my work computer)

Is there a free/paid online resource for HTML Tidy?

i used the W3C validator , and it passed .. no error ..

You can also get HTML Tidy as an add-on for Firefox
