how to add/remove links in nav bars?

This is the place i last visited. Yes it did explain how to add an "about us" link in the very top nav bar. But i still don't REALLY know what to do to add another one like say "shopping cart" or "my account".

Sorry if there is already an answer to my question somewhere on this forum. I have searched it but obviously in the wrong places.

ok no response. Why? Never mind why...

I guess what i want to achieve is:

Just ONE nav bar where i would have:

HOME ABOUT US CONTACT US SHOP PRIVACY LOG IN

How would i go about it? I can see in following code how it does link to the "CONTACT US" page, but say for PRIVACY?
IS there anyone who could help me understand this piece of coding?
