Need to split page every 9 items by change columnar_display.php

I need to split page of What's new module for every 9 items by change columnar_display.php with next and prev link.

Have someone do this before. I am not special in PHP.

Instead of messing with the code - open your Admin> Configuration> Maximums and change the number of items to display per page for the New Products.
