Tax rate turned off, still shows up on price - and is incorrect.. Need help Please

So I add a product and choose tax class : ONTARIO which is 13% tax rate


Tax Class: ONTARIO
Products Price (Net): $100
Products Price (Gross): $100

it does not change the price, but when i click on preview it shows $110.59 - this total is incorrect "it should be 13% tax rate"

2nd example,

i dont want the tax rate to show up on the product before check out

- How can this be done?

When you walk into a store, you only see price, when you go to the cashier, they add the tax - i want the same thing

i want my customers to see the price and when they go to check out, they will see the tax added

i cant figure or find a thread that describes the steps needed to take to make this happen..

however, even when i choose no tax class
- the price still shows $110.59

Why is the system not updating?

then when i click on preview - it shows the price at $110.59

Something is wrong with ZEN CART - i have the latest version
