As it is looking like my hosting service will not get my web site server up anytime soon I need to start considering another service. Any recommendations (please NOT from the vendors or hosting service employees themselves as this resulted in BAD service before) are most appreciated.
I am not sure if there is a specific section here for hosting service provider discussions.

The devs prefer that such recommendations be made by PM.
In the meantime, check the 'Certified Hosts' at the top of this page.
