Drop ship with canada post - how to do it?

Ok this might been asked before if so pass me to right location..

1. I'm based in Halifax and have SOME items that will be shipped from different LOCATION

2. I'm using canada post shipping mod to get all my rates

3. If I say use the mod to get my rates say from Halifax to Newfoundland its costing around $33. But if i say ship from where these certain items will be it will be around $48 to Newfoundland. That is a big differnace..

4. How can I do this with out breaking my bank on certain items.. as the closer the place to me the cheeper it is.. But then if i ship them from another location they will INCREASE in price..

5. Is there a way that I could say set up a BASE shipping price for this 1 or more items.. that WON"T BE SHIPPED FROM MY LOCATION, on a Flat fee.. But then have to figure how to charge for them to every location in the CDN and USA.

6. Or do I say call for shipping prices on this item? If so how can I not have the SHIPPING mod on for these certain products?

Any sugestion would help me out.. as i can't figure this one out..
