Removing Customers from E-mail lists

Thanks for your opinion, but that's up to me to decide who will receive our marketing materials. As far as I'm concerned, marketing materials are not newsletters.

Regardless of how you name it.
Spam is SPAM

Why is there an e-mail "All Customers" choice? Is that a mistake?

Under todays laws, maybe!

Does anybody without an opinion have an answer to my original question? Is there a way to remove the customer from future coupon e-mailings?

For your "marketing Materials"
You could export your database (and delete customers as
required ) to a specialised email external mailer program.
If you have a large number of customers you would want to "throttle" the number of emails sent so you don't overload ther server.

I don't believe what you want to do can be done without altering zen-cart core code.
