Default PayPal changing its allowances soon? new to ZenCart

ok so i was using CubeCart
my client has a paypal account
and wanted to use PayPal paments standard for customers.

Well for some reason, out of the box, Cobe Cart isnt working correctly with PayPal standard
    nor using IPN

anyway. i see someone suggested to me ( over there ) that im going to have to use their CC Version 4
This is a PAY FOR IT ONLY to use it tting
after that if i have paypal problems... well my client basically would have paid for something they possably wouldnt be happy with right?

    anyway

The error through CubeCart is because PayPal is changing its integration methods soon aid i wanted to know if that applies to ZenCart as well.

My client is running a store with the non profit organization
American Cancer Society here in Central NJ

    if they are donations only
and are working on a ZERO budget
why would i ask them to pay for
    my services
a script (cart) they probably wont like being problematic
    hosting
    and so on.......

its like Cube is attempting to have me pay for something because its the only option

    ZenCart provides 3 PayPal methods
    PayPal IPN
    PayPal express
    PayPro Flow

With the last being the only one that requires one to open an account that needs to be paid for.

    Actually there are 4:
PayPal Website Payments Standard (also known as PayPal IPN)
    PayPal Express Checkout
    PayPal Website Payments Pro
    PayPal Payflow Pro

The last two require a paid monthly subscription fee, because they are used to collect credit card info directly on your site as any other CC gateway would.

As for "allowances", you'll need to clarify what information you've read, as it's unclear what exactly you're saying is allegedly changing at PayPal.

@ DrByte: Maybe you'll clarify what information is allegedly changing at PayPal. We expect that, thank you!

I don't know why you're asking *me*. It was someone else who said they thought something was changing, and they never clarified it.
