Default How to get Zen to use a different mysql port than the default?

    Hello

How can we get zen cart 1.2.4 (we are going to upgrade it shortly) to use a different mysql port as we have 2 mysql versions running on our server and the one we need to connect to is not running on 3306.

    Many thanks in advance

    Paul

In your configure.php file, add the port number to the server name.

So, if you have your database server name set to 'localhost', change it to 'localhost:5000' (assuming the port is 5000)

    Hi DrByte,

    Thanks for your reply

We tried that first and it did not have any effect.

    :-(

    Thanks
