Email Entry Confirmation help

Hello

I have added the Email Entry Confirmation.

it is now working, but I see ENTRY_EMAIL_ADD... in the second email line.

Please see the image.

I would like to change the text that is showing. I have found more than one line of code that has this in it and I'm not sure wher and what to change.

Sounds like you've missed installing part of the addon ... ie: the part that defines what the ENTRY_EMAIL_ADD.... should say.

Basically, you need to make sure you've installed all the parts of the addon.

I went back through the files and it looks like everything was loaded as per the tree?

This is what I found.. According to the instruction for

it says to upload the tree... there is an issue with folders in the tree named "shortnsassy". Take out those folders and moved the files in them up one in the tree. Then upload and it works without causing the file to define incorrectly. It now works and has been tested.

Then I went to .../includes/languages/english.php and change the

define('ENTRY_EMAIL_ADDRESS_CONFIRM', 'Confirm E-Mail:');

to

define('ENTRY_EMAIL_ADDRESS_CONFIRM', 'Confirm Email:');

To match the upper email entry.

Don't forget to create back up of files. I renamed the old english.php to english.php.bak.

"shortnsassy" was probably the name of the custom template which the addon contributor was using for their site.
If you are customizing files for your own use, you should be putting the edited files in your own custom template/theme folder, similar to how they did it, rather than editing the original files in the original place.
