    Default Products Model - Different #s for attributes?

    Is it possible to have a different product number for each attribute? For example a gold pen has a different model number then a black pen.

    Not in this version of Zen Cart. Although with a little programming skills it can be added. However, it is scheduled to be included in the Zen Cart 2.0 release.

    Could you please elaborate on the logistics in a nutshell on how this would be done programmatically? Also when is 2.0 slated for? Thanks.
