Default <div class="legalcopyright"> where the frick is it?

    Hi guys,

Just started using Zencart in the last few days and are trying to find the file that the command <div class="legalcopyright:> is in.

I've checked and rechecked the css file and also looked in the

    includes/languages/english.php
    includes/templates/template_default/common/tpl_footer.php

aswell due to them mentioning the above command line. But I can't for the life of me find somewhere to actually edit the size etc of that item.

Basically I'm trying to move the box at the bottom of my site down abit as it's overlapping into another box.

If you check my mainpage and right click veiw source for firefox and chrome users just below the multicolored boxes down the bottom you'll see that the box that holds the copyright and designed by information is overlapping the other boxes.

Any help on this would be great thanks.

    Hi,,,

looks fine to me using firefox... no overlapping at all... but it does remind me of the old fashined TV test cards.. lol

i like how you have columned up the header and footer...
    How did you do that?...

div class = legalcopyright can be found in common\tpl_footer.php (line 62 ish)

and line 391 in style sheet

(orginal unedited files btw.. line number will be diff if you'ver edited)

Thanks for that mcshane, I'll take a look at it later on, getting late here and I'm trying to relax the mind after learning all this zencart info.

The overlapping I noticed only occurs when I hover over the text of the legalcopyright area when I'm looking at the source code.

For the columns I did in the footer I edited the tpl_footer.php and removed all the secondary div ids under something like navsupwrapper or something like that (I'll have to look at it) Then I changed the main id to something I wanted and added it into the css file along with some more div classes aswell to break up the footer into each section.

Mmm I seem to of run into another problem that I've been trying to correct most of this afternoon without much luck

Basically whats happened is I've added in the search function to the header of my site and of course I had to enable it in the admin panel for it to work, now since I enabled it the search function is also appearing on the left column of my site which I do not want.

I've looked high and low through all the files I've customized already for the particular lines of code I want to edit out. And obviously I can't find them

If anyone could help me that would be fantastic.

I have never done anything like that before so the following is only my best guess...

Find tpl_search.php and comment out the relevent PHP... (found in the /sideboxes folder.

There is also a tpl_search_header.php file you could look at and amend...

then look at the Admin for your sidebox settings

    ??

    hope it helps...

    Hi Guys,

Had a quick look at your site, and i had the same issue....where i only wanted the 'Search' to be in the header ratehr than the left side aswel......So to get it to do this, i did :

    • Go to Admin panel - Tools - Layout Box Controller
    • Find the one called ' sideboxes/search_header.php' and click edit.
    • Set Left/Right column status to off, and set Single Column Stauts to on. (this makes it only appear in the header)
    • Then find 'search.php', and set Left/Right column status to off

Hope this helps and is what you were after :)
