No - will I try redo the install myself ?
If there's no confirm button on step 3 there are only three things I can think that would cause that problem.
1) Either a mod or your template interferes with the checkout confirmation page which then clashes with the payment module (fast & easy checkout has been proven to clash and cause this problem) You can check this by using the default template.
2) You have an old version of the payment module installed (version 2 looks ALOT different and does display the version number in the admin)
3) The install of the payment module has been corrupted or not done correctly.
Let me know if you find out whats happened
Hi Nixak
still trying and going back to the start not making any assumptions : so
*SagePay Form account - already signed up
*SSL Certificate - Sagepay say they provide this for Form integration - is this where i fall down???
PLEASE make this torture stop
Hi Sheenamad,
Unfortunatly I have some bad news for you
Sagepay provide an SSL certificate for themselves only ... this is normal, you must have your own SSL certificate for your website (my current one cost £59.99 for the year, my first one cost almost £200so at least they are getting cheaper) plus your server host must have php curl installed and running .... most already do, this is easy to check just give you server hosting company a call.
It only gets worse I'm afraidas the only way I know to totally remove Fast & Easy Checkout is via a fresh install, I tried for weeks to remove the poxy mod but it never worked.
Sorry about all the bad news but this is why I created a readme file in the mod which you unfortunatly didn't get because someone else installed it for you.
But i went with Sagepay form integration so that I wouldn't have to have my own SSL . "(..)The customer is redirected to Sage Pay to enter their card details, so no sensitive information needs to be taken or stored on your site (removing the need for you to maintain highly secure encrypted databases, or obtain digital certificates).(..)" So will the add-on not work because of this?? Is there anything I can do about this?
