    Default Authorize.net error?

I'm getting this after setting up Aurhorize.net AIM

This transaction has been declined - Your credit card could not be authorized for this reason. Please correct the information and try again or contact us for further assistance.

I have checked to see one two different cards and ensuring I have placed the correct address. It worked correctly with PayPal but I do not want to have to use Paypal to process CC's.

Any idea? I have it set according to

There are 3 ways to find out "why" the card was declined:

    a) Call authorize.net and ask them why that particular transaction was declined.

    b) Log into your Authorize.net account and look at recent transactions, and look at the reason why it was declined.

    c) In your store Admin, go to the authorize.net AIM module settings and turn on the Debug Log option. Then when the transaction takes place, the reason for the decline will be recorded in the log file.

Talked to my Authorize.net contact and I was told that it takes 3 to 5 days on their end to have the coding and merchant number set for the online carts part of the account.

Hope this helps anyone just setting up a new account with Authorize .net

Hmmm ... I thought the setup was a bit faster than that ... at least, it is when you sign up for the service using this page: http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...es&pages_id=45
