Automated Order Printing

Does Zen Cart have any options for automatic order printing, so the moment an order is placed, the backend shoots the order to a printer? What about email?

We use the Thunderbird email program and this add-on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/6906 To automatically print order emails. There is no way to do it directly from Zencart that I'm aware of.

Awesome that will work, also with a little research after you brought that method up, I find Outlook has that ability integrated.

Achieving that in Outlook works by simply creating a new Rule to print email from a specified address/name/etc. Worked like a charm, zipped the email right through to the default printer.

That sounds like something I could use. I went into outlook....tools...msg rules...and couldn't find anything to do with Auto print. How did you set it up??
