    Default Customers unable to find "My Account" area?

    Is there an area in ZenCart that customers can manager their store accounts? Right now all they can seem to do is sign up.

    Once signed up, there is no link on my store for them to view or edit their account information, or see order history.

    This may be a configuration issue on my part, and I just need to enable the link to appear, but I can't seem to figure out how to do it, and I can't even find the link myself.

    Any suggestions?

    • What version of Zen Cart are you using?
      • 1.3.8
    • Has your site been upgraded? When? From what version(s)?
      • No. This is the version I installed.
    • What addons have you installed? When?
      • None yet.
    • In what ways is your site customized or different from a brand new uncustomized install?
      • Only through the admin panel and general cosmetic changes in the CSS. No major template hacks or anything.
    • If you're encountering display/layout problems, post your site URL* so it can be seen in action.
      • Would rather not. However, I would be happy to provide screenshots of specific pages if needed.
    • If you're encountering problems that could be related to your server or hosting company, include the name of your hosting company (not their URL).
      • N/A
    • HAVE YOU LOOKED IN THE FAQ AREA for answers to your question? (ie: a search for your error message or what you want to edit/change, etc)
      • Yes. I have searched for hours. "User, Customer, Account, Management, Edit," all bring up nothing related.
    • Have you searched the FORUM for your error message or for answers to the question you're asking?
      • Yes. I have found nothing related to account management.
    • WHEN did the problem "start"? How does that compare with other events of your hosting company, changes you've made to your site files/addons, or your admin settings, etc?
      • N/A

    Given that I've found nothing on the forums about how to do this, or that the feature is not available, I've decided I must be missing something obvious.

    FOUND IT.

    Ironically, buying the owners manual at cucumber media showed me the correct syntax to access my account there... and therefore, showed me how to do so at my store!

    Just in case this happens to anyone else, the link for a user to manage their account information (including check the status of an order) is:

    /index.php?main_page=account

    (They must be logged in for this to work, or they will be prompted to login.)

    PS: I still don't know how to make the option available automatically on my store.

    For now, I'm simply going to add it to the template and the "More Information" sidebox.

    But, there must be a place that ZenCart automatically produces it, right?
