    Default SQL_CACHE_METHOD Benefits?

While moving my zencart from a sub-directory to the domain root directory, I discovered my SQL_CACHE_METHOD is set to none.
The comments in the configure.php states:
For SQL_CACHE_METHOD, you can select from: none, database, or file
    (1) What are the advantages and disadvantages of each choice?
    (2) Is there an effect on performance?

    Thank you.

In Zen Cart v1.3.x, you will notice a minimal peformance improvement if you set that to 'database' or 'file' instead of 'none'.

'database' is the recommended setting unless you have an extremely busy website, in which case 'file' could be considered.

If you do change it, be sure to change it in BOTH of your configure.php files (admin and non-admin) so they use the same value for that setting.

I've done as suggested, however, not leaving well enough alone, I've installed Simple SEO URL which also involves caching. Therefore, I wonder if and how this might effect the previous question and answer?

    Thanks.
