Cannot connect to database anymore

I have been trying to figure what is wrong. I am getting this error in both the admin and public view now.

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /#####/index.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

What error details are showing in your webserver's apache errorlog?
What is your hosting company saying when you ask them about it?

ok so now I am at least getting a page. The fresh install page.

Shouldn't I have a folder that points to say a store? My catalog?

I have asked my host. They told me they cannot help with Zencart issues.

Okay, that could easily appear if you were trying to access your .htaccess file from your browser.

But, if you're getting 404 or 403 or 500 errors, those should also be showing up in the logs.

I saw that and deleted it, it did not belong there. I am getting the Zencart Fresh install for some reason. My whole store is gone!

The fresh-install screens only appear if the contents of the configure.php files are bad, missing, or have content that points to invalid paths. Or if the permissions you've set on the files are too low/restrictive.

I had my files under public/shoppe and everything worked fine except my directory was showing. I posted as why my directory was showing and the fella said I needed to move my files up under the public folder. So I did. I doing so I had to edit my config files and everything has gone haywire since...lol

I have months of work stored away in my database.

I did not read that I just moved them from shoppe/public_html

Moved them up one folder.
