Breadcrumbs not visible

I want to show my breadcrumb trail in my catalog (I think), but it seems to be missing. I have "Define Breadcrumb Status" set to 1 in Configuration/Layout Settings, and I didn't change anything with #navBreadCrumb in my style sheet. What is connected to them that I could have turned off?

Did you design that template yourself, or did someone else? Some commercial templates turn stuff off in the code. Your code in the breadcrumb section of the index page says something about 'removing breadcrumb'.

Switching temporarily to the Classic template will tell you if it's a template thing or not.

I designed it myself, and honestly don't remember everything I turned off. At first I didn't want them (breadcrumbs), but I don't remember specifically shutting them off -- just that they disappeared with other things. I guess I need to know where else to look that could effect them to find out what I disabled.

I'd use the Developers Tool Kit to search for 'remove breadcrumb' to see what file you edited. That term doesn't appear in a stock Zencart installation.
