Home Page initial layout problem

When first landing on the home page of my site, the logos on the right side of the page are misaligned.

If I refresh the page 2-3 times, then everything realigns!

This happens each time and I have tried clearing the cache on my PC but it is still happening. Any help greatly appreciated!

You have a lot of junk in your templates. It looks as there may have been tables in the once that have been removed, but bits have been left behind. This is likely confusing the hell out of browsers and causing this inconsistent rendering.

I recommend validating your site and using the errors found to tidy up your site's structure.

I have taken a look at my site using the WC3 link and see what you mean.


Can you tell me how to find which file I need to edit? It seems like some of the tags you suggested like td, tr (around line 114) need removing but I'm not sure how to find which files they are in. Using the Develop Tool Kit searching for <td>, <tr> tags is too broad?

Most of the issues are in code that wouldn't have been part of an original Zen Cart install to start with, so it's difficult to work out where they have been added and then taken away again.

The developers tool kit is the right place to go, but you're right that td and tr are too common on your site to search for. Instead I'd recommend looking for nearby HTML comments, which are generally unique (or worst case exist in core and over-ride files only).
