Hi everyone I have installed live messenger on 2 of my zen cart sites all working well, until today. Both sites are so slow, I turned off messenger in the layout boxes controller and they are back to normal? Any help would be appreciated as this is a great tool and I would like to continue with it.
I am using ZC v 138.a

I experienced a slow performance in my site too, but that was when i was not home and accessed the web from another place. Besides, the sidebox is just there, i was offline.

Do you experience the same when you are logged in or it doesnt matter?

I am accessing from 2 computers from my office and both were really slow. I decided to use a process of elimination and since the last thing I did was install messenger I turned it off. As soon as it was turned off the site was nice and fast again. I turned it back on and the site was fine for a while and then it progressively got slower until it would not load pages at all. I noticed that my favicon was not showing either when the site was slow? I am not by any stretch of the imagination a code/php guru.. lol I wish I knew where to look for the issue I have done the google thing etc.. but no luck. Maybe the code is heavy on the servers resources? If you figure it out I will be very grateful and if I do I'll be sure to let you know.

I can't replicate any slow down on my site, could possibly another mod that you have on your site that is conflicting

I have this working perfectly now, I even have it as a link with the online icon in the top navigation button bar.

Customers use it every day, very useful.

Installed the mod without any issues, and with no noticable slow down in site performance - at this stage. :)

Just a quick question, is there a way of controlling where the chat box appears on the screen?

Mine opens up at the very top far right of the screen, would be nice to have it pop up in the middle of the screen.
