Problem with Per Unit perweight method

I have an odd problem occuring with my shipping.

Whenever someone changes the quantity in the shopping cart, the shipping remains the same.

For example Product A cost $5.00 and has a shipping cost of $1.00.

The customer adds Product A to their shopping cart, and then in the shopping cart changes the quantity to 2.

When they checkout it shows

2x Product A $10.00
Shipping $1.00
Subtotal $11.00

When it should show

2x Product A $10.00
Shipping $2.00
Subtotal $12.00

This also happens when someone originally has 2 items and changes it to 1, they are still charged shipping for 2 items.

How can I fix this?

How do you have your Product Setup?

Product is Virtual?

Product is Always Free Shipping?

Product Weight?

What are your settings in the Per Unit perweightunit shipping module?

What are the settings in the Configure ... Shipping/Packaging?

The Per Unit perweight has the shipping price as the weight.

This is the only shipping option.

No virtual products

Have you an URL to a Product that isn't working and can you also give the weight that you have set in the products_weight field and if you have attributes the weights on those as well?

This is not an issue that happens with some products and not others.

All products are effected.

I am randomly selecting http://www.bodykits.net/front-lips/m...clipse/147517/ for a product URL.

In this case 95 is entered as products_weight field since it cost $95.00 to ship that product.

I am not getting an error on the shipping ...

I order 1 = $95.00 shipping 2 = $190.00 shipping ... this appears to work as it should ...

Are you changing the quantity from 1 to 2 or vise versa from main_page=shopping_cart?

That is where there is a problem.
