emailing customers who have purchased..??? is it possible??

is it possible to just email customers who have purchased a set items.

is i want to email all the people who have purchases, for example, a imac from my self with a special offer on an upgrade/ram i have.

oviously i know the product ID number but is there a way of using the product id so can email all customers related to that item id ie they bought that item.

thanks... but i can't see how that works! ie how to send the emails etc from inside the admin area

If you build a new "audience list" by following the post I linked to, then when you next go to Admin -> Tools -> Send Email, you will be able to select from the Customer drop down box all of the customers who bought whatever particular item and send them all an email from your Zen Cart admin panel.

You need to follow the section titled "Want one for customers who purchased product #103?".

Once you have the SQL statement prepared, just paste it into Admin -> Tools -> Install SQL Patches and click Send.

You might want to perform a database backup first though.

only you run the sql will the option be in the send email drop down??

then how do you get rid of it once finnished??

someone should make an email mod so you type the product number in and then the email message and it send to email to all with that product number.
