It sounds like there is a problem connecting to the database, probably just a misspell when setting up the shop.....



If you go into your FTP programme, and go to includes - configure.php ....downoad this file and open it up in your editor ( dreamweaver)

Need to check that the details for connecting to the database are correct with the ones provided by the hosting company, so you will also need to log into your hosting provider, and go to phpMyAdmin (or equivalent).

Then copy/ check the details are correct.... you will need to check, database name, username, password, and host address.



Remember to do the same for the configure.php in Admin - includes aswel, BUT dont just copy the same file accross as there are differences in the 2 configure.php files.

Hi, there you mess up with configure.php file you need to Change your Permissions as Read only uncheck , Wite, Exeute
